Please read this: [Unchecked Presidential Power][1]
> In the weeks after 9/11, while America and the world were grieving, Bush built a legal rationale for a dictatorship. Then he immediately started using it to avoid the law.

It’s no secret that I don’t like Bush; but I’ve been willing to accede to his authority as the recognized head of the U.S. government. And I don’t support war in Iraq, but since we’re there (including my cousin) and we’ve done plenty of damage so far, we need to make it right.
But the fact that George Bush Jr. has not been impeached and convicted of high treason against the people of the United States boggles me. How many scandals has he somehow weathered so far?
Make no mistake: not only has he created a War on Terror, but he’s defined us all equally: Foreign or American, we’re either with him, or we’re enemy combatants.
