This isn’t a repeat of the ’90s. It doesn’t take _that much_ to ensure your site works just fine in Safari.
Now, if you _need_ some sort of super-advanced Javascript capabilities that Safari can’t provide, I understand. But [Riffs][1], you’re a REVIEWS site. What could you possibly be doing that requires you to exclude Safari?

And if you’re concerned because you’re using the script.aculo.us javascript effects library and can’t have your edit-in-place without bugs (yeah, I know about it): [Backpack][2] can do edit in place somehow. So make it compatible! Fix the library if you have to. Just don’t bite the hands that made Web 2.0.
