Unquiet

I know I said [Clutter is almost ready][1] for a public debut, and it is, especially with the recent release of [FeedTools 0.2.0][2] but [some paying work][3] stands in the way of me working on it as much as I’d like. As soon as the paying projects are finished, I’ll be hopping back on Clutter and get it on a public server. Then I can start to explain what it is, the philosophy behind it, etc.

I’ve also got to update the Portfile for Lighttpd, which recently moved to 1.3.16. I’d successfully modified it to install 1.3.15 on my machine, but hadn’t updated any of the new dependencies or options. I’ll make some time this weekend to look over the changes and see what has to be done.

And, of course, I’m in the ‘day job’ part of the week, wherein I have to work like a normal person for most of the day.

_Edit: Not to mention that, since the paying work has to do with copyediting/copywriting, I’m extremely interested in reviving the business I started a few years back that handled that sort of work. I’m starting to see my ‘career’ model as several related micro-businesses that handle different aspects of the work I enjoy doing._
