My RSS reader contained a [del.icio.us][1] bookmark to an eBook download of _[Agile Web Development with Rails][2]_ this morning. I’m sure quite a few other people noticed it as well, before the download got pulled offline.
Not to worry; I’m __definitely__ planning to buy the hardcopy book when it comes out - PDFs are nice, but there’s something tangibly better about having a paper reference when programming.
I had to grin about the efficiency with which a simple bookmark, possibly innocent, became a method of file-sharing through the magic of social software…
And what’s with [_Walmart_ selling the book][3]?
