Pidgin for ‘that was good food’ goes something like ‘broke da mouf’… don’t worry, I wouldn’t use that phrase in conversation here - I’m far too mainland too get away with talking like that.
But unfortunately, I actually did break my mouth, in a way - I broke a tooth about halfway back on the right side of my mouth the other day while biting into my lunch sandwich. Somehow - but not unlikely, given what I do, I got a pebble in my sandwich that didn’t give when I bit down hard. Cracked the tooth - and the broken piece fell apart later in the day.
So I have to find out what my options are for dental care under my current insurance. Last time I called, I was told that they only covered _extraction_, which is really not something I care to have done - I’d much rather cap the tooth - for that matter, I really need braces for the rest of the teeth anyway!
Hopefully this isn’t going to end up costing me a fortune that I don’t have…. At least now I have some income, and that will help.
